Public Service Announcement (PSA) parody short film screenplay

The Public Service Announcement (PSA) is a conventional format for conveying information. It can be cheap to film, with just a person delivering a monologue to a camera. The predictable conventions of the PSA are also ripe for parody, mockery, and comedy. And, in this case, gender politics go nicely with comedy.

Working Title of the Script: “PGS”

Film Synopsis / Log Line: In this Public Service Announcement (PSA), an expert narrator informs the audience very seriously about something ridiculous, illustrated by skits carried out by a small troupe.

Locations: 3. If you’ve got access to an aquarium or shark tank, even better.

Casting: 4 actors, 4 actresses
